@TheShowThatSUX, well there is a way to install kde3 beside kde4, however kde3 would still prefer its apps to be called by there original name (ex. kwin instead of kwin3) unless you install it into a different prefix like /opt/kde3.

What I really wish some one could figure out is a way to make KDE 4 and 3 play nice with each other so people dont need to choose.
I like KDE 4 but can see why some like 3 and right now the forced choice is make some issues. Going forward it will get harder and harder to use current stuff if you are KDE 3. But if the KDE 3 die hards could make a layer that would let it play nice with KDE 4 stuff win all around.
