WE give the cops the right to protect us. We the people have made that choice. Do you want people to take the law into their own hands? We the people created government for a reason.
Don't take things to such extremes. All I AM taking about is banning the more unnecessary assault weapons and making sure that we have background checks.

"Well that is because Gun Control just helps the Criminals and hurts the victims.
This also falls in line with the Individualism ideology."
Rubbish, that's just more libertarian nonsense. This is why people don't take the libertarian candidates seriously. Its better (and more effective) when they disguise themselves as Republicans. : D

No thats alright I think i'll keep talking. Not all rights are good rights. Ron Paul said at Georgetown University that he doesn't believe in any gun control. Foolish ideology.

Being obsessed with ideology makes one a flawed person. Such a person tries to fit their beliefs into a categories instead of making decisions based on situations that are presented. Life is not that narrow. So the answer to your questions is - it depends on whats in front of me.

What is your deal/obsession with these labels? People are far more complex with their voting patterns then this. Sure, you can have grand systems but that doesn't mean people are going to fit nicely into them.
Soldiers don't have a right to civil disobedience. That's the point. When you call treasonous asshats like him a hero, to diminish the meaning of the word and those who actually earn the title.

Actually, it does mean they own him...while he's in uniform or representing his service. The oath he took also states he will obey the orders of the President and officers appointed over him. He's not just beholding to the Constitution. He does not serve the "people." He serves his government. No soldier is obligated to follow orders of any civilian except those in his chain of command. I'm a former soldier. This has nothing to do with politics.
