DLC Release 07/06/10 ~ Creedence Clearwater Revival Pack 01
"I Heard It Through the Grapevine" is the 4th track from Cosmo's Factory, the fifth album by American band Creedence Clearwater Revival, released in 1970. The eleven-minute jam of the 1967 and 1968 R&B hit "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" would become a minor hit when an edited version was released as a single in the 70s a few years after the group's breakup.
A landmark song in the history of Motown Records, I Heard It Through the Grapevine was written by Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong in 1966. The single was first recorded by Smokey Robinson & the Miracles. Released on September 25, 1967 as Soul 35039 by Gladys Knight & the Pips who recorded the third version of the song, it has since become a signature song for singer Marvin Gaye, who recorded his version of the song prior to the Pips' but released it after theirs on October 30, 1968 as Tamla 54176.

DRUMS ~ PROFFESSORJOE
Pretty interesting overall, couple boring ones but mostly fun. Nothing crazy. Heard It Through the Grapevine by far the most fun which is convenient being the 10 minute long song lol.
BASS ~ RJUCPU
Nothing especially challenging but nothing super boring either. Couple really easy ones but mostly there was enough going on to relax and enjoy the songs. Heard It Through the Grapevine was pretty fun from start to finish, definitely top pick of this pack for bass with Travelin' Band a close second.
I always loved this bassline. Great job. Stu is a godamn bass player.
