Under the differential, probably about a foot on the F-350. I figure an excursion would make it just fine. I don't know how the terrain is now though. Things change over winter.

How much ground clearance did you have. I am gonna scout imogene with the jeep to see if my Excursion will make it.

That's a great trail.

I did Imogen Pass on my '88 7.3L F250 STD cab 4x4 from Telluride to Ouray. Had a pop-top Jaunty pickup bed camper on it, too! [note...this is smaller pickup bed camper in all dimensions. Its not what you find at the RV dealer these days. DO NOT DUPLICATE WHAT I DID. You'll probably not get past the tunnel on the Telluride side]. Anyway, this Black Bear Pass shown here in the video looks far, far more technical. I don't think I'd try that pass in a full size truck anytime soon.

the rough part for a truck is the switchbacks lower down. this is just a hair-raising section that honestly isnt too bad.

Can you imagine... we took a 1997 F-350, Turbo Diesel, long bed, crew cab, 4X4 pickup from Telluride to Ouray though Imogene Pass. It was fun. You know the signs that say, "Four-Wheel Drive, High Ground Clearance, SHORT WHEEL BASE Vehicles only"? Yeah, we didn't obey the last one what so ever.

wow, that would make those switchbacks even worse. this samurai has the widest turn radius of anything ive driven over.
