@ccfafighter We used to have a lot of these tournaments in California but currently they are shut down by CSAC. You can get on fight cards if you have standup and submission grappling skills. The MMA style is called Pankration, it is an international sport under FILA. see fightleague. o r g for more info.

why no slams??

@outdoorsman715 You can see the full rules at fightleague. o r g but the reason is to avoid injury. We recently competed under the international rules in Kharkov Ukraine and slams were allowed there. The slam in this match was no big deal and just put the kid on top in a bad position.

Yeah we couldn't believe it when he underhooked the leg and slamed himself right into a triangle choke.
I'm sure he won't make that mistake again.
