Japanese people propably love her alot and trust her thats why they are supporting her IMO, also i heard from a friend that some Japanese are losing trust on the authorities...is taht a reason? i dunno...

i first got to know Sakai Noriko when in 1997 when i first go to use the internet and i was a teenage then and loved Japanese anime. and i learned then what an idol is and started to listen to many other idols of the 80's and 90's. really loved that culture. thanks for explaining more about it cuz many ppl really dont know what an idol is. idols have GREAT pressure on them they have to act well and be a role model...too bad that happend to her, i really liked her.

@sonicphotonic I thought you meant Takahashi Ai.

@BoukenBlack Ai Kago. She left in 2004.

@sonicphotonic Aibon? Which one is that because I think she is still in Morning Musume until August 2011.

Is it true that Hello! Project girls who are
not allowed to have boyfriends?
I love Noriko Sakai's song「あおいうさぎ」
"Aoi Usagi" (Blue Rabbit.)

I was under the impression that that is how Sakai currently looked at her age! I thought to myself, "DANG! She's bangin!". Turns out that photo is from 1998. During my teens I experienced my time "experimenting" with "distractions". Got it out of my system and have no urge to do anything anymore at 21. I wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone. If I was asked for an opinion it would stay at that, nothing more. It's harsh how they handle her, but it's better than U.S,'s celebrity punishment..

heyyy wait do you speak japanese good on that long years you stayed that place. how long people learn japanese in they're place if i stay in japan how long would i learn how to speak thier language. please help me. i want o know you had expirence already.
I agree with most of your arguments. But, some of the details are not, I believe, right. "Kusanagi lost his record deal" "Victor Entertainment increased the price on her CDs, DVDs" ---are you sure about that?
Also, I'm not sure about "Japan doesn't differentiate between soft and hard drugs" bit. Actually smoking marijuana is NOT a crime in Japan. Just possession and selling are. And punishments for soft and hard drugs are totally different.
Anyhow, I do agree with most of your arguments.

dakaradada, I did not call Victor Entertainment but I did read the article about on either Japan Times or Japan Today. I should have given you the link.
How can you smoke marijuana if you don't have it? I'm not sure how that is a significant difference. Not arguing, but that's weird. Are you saying that they won't test your blood/hair for it? Lastly, I don't mean legally different. I meant that most people think that marijuana is just as bad as any drug. In the USA most people don't.
Thanks!

My favorite quote from Kusanagi: 裸になってが悪い?!
I want it one a t-shirt.
I remember when that one Morning Musume singer, Aibon, was caught smoking a cigarette and it pretty much ruined her career. She was forced to leave the group and she's pretty much shunned. Idol life is harsh.
