This "plasma treatment" is not new. The first part of XX century, dentists used high frequency discharge for a large sort of apllications. For example, root canal treatment. The tooth cavity was sterilized with high freq discharge and afterwards sealed wirth guttapercha. At those times the pharmaceutical was at its infancy. Short wave treatments were also used. For example:
