Northern California Ice Climbing at Cold Stream Canyon near Truckee

Coldstream Canyon harbors some of the most impressive ice formations in the Tahoe area.
There are at least 6 independent lines that form on two steep cliffs at the head of the canyon, ranging from 50-70 meters and WI 3-5.
This ice is not easy to get to with most approaches being 4-5 miles long.
Snow mobilers are able to cruise right up to the base of the climbs.

@ueverdream .hahaaa, It seems more people are interested in emo stuff,and iphones on youtube,rather than enjoying nature videos.So videos tend to get overlooked,when they arent full of apple products or bs emo kids crying with tight pants.Such adventurous videos get often overlooked.Im glad you posted this to share.I appreciate it.
