Please note that these jokes are not written by me, they are from various sources.
Jacob age 85, and Rebecca age 79 are all excited about their decision to
get married. They go for a stroll to discuss the wedding and on the way
go past a drugstore. Jacob suggests that they go in. He addresses the man
behind the counter: "Are you the owner?"
The pharmacist answers, "Yes."
Jacob: "Do you sell heart medication?"
Pharmacist: "Of course we do."
Jacob: "How about medicine for circulation?"
Pharmacist: "All kinds."
Jacob: "Medicine for rheumatism?"
Pharmacist: "Definitely."
Jacob: "How about Viagra?"
Pharmacist: "Of course."
Jacob: "Medicine for memory?"
Pharmacist: "Yes, a large variety."
Jacob: "What about vitamins and sleeping pills?"
Pharmacist: "Absolutely."
Jacob: "Perfect! We'd like to register here for our wedding gifts."
May I suggest the title "me reading jokes exactly as they're written without changing them in any way to make them more suitable for spoken form"? I think it'd be a better description.
Joke was ok, delivery was... embarrassing.

@kidowner ya, that way, the people don't end up with four toasters and three frying pans. They mark what they want given to them, and then the people go in and buy it. Or you can go in and give $30 toward a gift that's $50 and another person can add the extra $20, so the couple ends up getting what they like. Maybe they want dinnerware that goes with their wallpaper, or something. See? :)

Yeah it's the same deal for baby showers; expecting parents can set up a "baby registry" at a certain store and they create a list of things they would like their friends/family to buy for them for the shower... It's the same idea as a Christmas list.

People who've been married can go to a store and register there for wedding gifts so people who are going to get gifts know where and what to buy.
