Dead or Alive Online Private Server (Russian, Boba) Video 1

This is the Dead or Alive Online Private Server hosted by a Russian community. This game was originally produced by TECMO in 2009 - 2011. The official servers are now dead. Though this (the Russian server software) is really incomplete at the moment, it currently allows for: signing in, creating a character, battling NPCs (challenge mode, practice, etc) and other players, and chatting. Battling is done with Dead or Alive characters using the DOA2 (XBOX, PS2) engine. Because of this, XBOX controllers (and XInput controllers work out of the box).

Characters are not saved by the server at the moment, thus you must recreate each login. People can connect from the world over, though playing with peple from your own country is best or you will experience lagg possibly.

You can also run this game in an 'offline mode' and connect to servers others have setup.

My previous guide no longer works, don't use it. Get the file: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YG50VNKO and use the installer contained within to install a new (complete) DOA installation. Execute the game from the DOA Online/Final folder file doaoLauncher.exe.

2. Delete your broken install and use this installer to install the full game. I reccomend trying Number 1 first. Also, don't click 'run DOA Online' at the end of the installer. That won't work. Just go to your DOA Online/Final folder and execute doaoLauncher.exe, select the server '188.134.3.7' and click start game.

Though I do not know what causes this, I have made an installation file for you all here which is based off of my own successful install. I have tested this installer, and it seems to work. I've put the link in this video description ..

Just download, unzip the file, and do one of two things: 1. rename your broken DOA installation folder to DOA Online and point this installer into the same Program Files directory its in (it will overwrite the files and add missing ones), OR...

This is the game lobby, btw. Not the game itself necessarily. Those 'game requests' you saw me reject are invites from random players to battle using the DOA2/DOAU engine. That's the meat of the game, it'll be covered in the next video.

Does anybody know if BOBA will update this server? (like adding more content) I want to see the outside world of DOA Online other than just the training center. What about the English translation? Or the saving file problems? I'm just asking because I am thinking of donating to this project. Thanx in advance for any info :-)

now that I've downloaded DOA Oniline (at last) I have all DOA games including rare DOA 2 HARD*CORE on PS2 :D Now I'm wating for DOA 5

Freezes after any tutorial fights. If you need someone for English dialog please let me know, it is awful.
