Danelectro Hornet (Dead on '67) guitar review

My review of the seemingly rare Dan-o Hornet i just got. While waiting for the order to come through i searched youtube for as many demos and reviews as possible. Here's my "working musician" review of this guitar with it's Ups and Downs.

Most of the complaints were about the trem arm not being capable of divebombs. If that's a deal breaker, then someone missed the point.

p.s. after a few gigs ... one more downside. I broke the high e string twice in 2 weeks :(

yeah ... it's not a dive bomber but it stays in tune (for the most part) only complaint is that it's a pain to take off or tighten

How does it sound distorted? I usually don't play very distorted but for the times I do I want it to sound nice and trebley.

Great job, nice review, thanks for putting this out there. I own an old 1457 and this sounds pretty similar.
