Rosemarie Kratz, a cashier from Apple Valley, said she is using her $50,000 prize as a down payment on a house and to help her family. Shell put anything left over in the bank.
Lee Enright, a plumber from Duarte, actually bought his ticket with a friend: So we will be splitting anything I win today, he explained. Enright won a new car so maybe they will just trade off driving it.
Roberto Chavez, a trash collector from Whittier, is a thoughtful son, therefore he will use his $15,000 prize to help his parents.
