IMO one of the best songs on this unlucky planet!!
-
Wow, I had no idea idea this song was part of the original soundtrack. Paul Michael Glaser has a pretty decent voice! He's more that just a pretty face! (Complete and total Starsky & Hutch fan here!) We all knew that David Soul had that secondary "singing" career (Don't Give Up On Us, Baby) ... who knew that Paul could sing?
-
Of course: Didnt you pay attention to his interpretation of the bible? :P
-
since on fiddler on the roof the czar is still in charge , does that mean that perchick is communist?
-
Didn't he have two lines in Sunrise, Sunset?
"They look so natural together"
and
"Is there a canopy in store for me?"
Which he and Hodel sing together. You can hear him under Hodel's singing.

This is my favorite song on the entire soundtrack! It's a shame it didn't make it into the movie.

did they ever film this scene?
-
Wow what a great song, too bad it's not on the soundtrack.

It's great, isn't it? I wish they'd kept it in the film :)

This is such a great song - I still think the Russian Revolution was mostly an excuse to write rousing revolutionary songs like this. It's a shame they left it out of the final cut - it's a shame they left out its stage counterpart "Now I Have Everything" too. Paul Michael Glaser was so great as Perchek, they should've given him more to do.

I know what you mean; they should have given Paul Michael Glaser much more to do, but then there are loads of small main parts that make up Fiddler On the Roof, apart from Tevye being the biggest character :)
I was eally sad they left out 'Now I Have Everything' too; it's such a good song!! :P
And yeah, I agree, this is a really great song :D
Thanks or the comment :)

That was so awesome...thanks for posting. I think Paul Michael Glaser did a wonderful job with that song, it is definitely a shame it was not used. He is such a great actor. Thanks again for sharing this.

Aw, no problem :) It's such a shame we didn't hear him sing more stuff in the film - he only had that one line in 'Sunrise, Sunset' and he is a fantastic actor. This song confuses me so much though cause it isn't in the stage version; Glaser's character in the stage version of FotR sings 'Now I Have Everything' which is just cute ^^ I wish that was in the film too...
Anyway, thanks for your comment! :) I'm glad you liked this :D
