  • Fantastic playing & expression of lightness & grace at speed. Unimaginable that such enormous hands could spin such an elfin delicacy.

  • Extraordinary playing of such color, velocity and detail - aural foam! Delightful. Thank you.

I'm glad you changed your opinion! ;)

Everybody can be wrong but only strong and generous people can recognize their own mistakes. Accept my respect!

  • @zeusjeke I know now! Have had a listen to all his historic recordings of his own and other composers works, indeed a treasure I have been happy to find. Will remove the comment now. T.

  • @etudepatetico I had this piece on a cd like 15 years ago, and this recording sounds exactly the same, and 15 years ago youtube did not exist QED :)

  • At the time, people were speaking French; and that's so good for us to know that everything did not change so much since a century !

  • wow! This is fantastic! I am trying to learn this at the moment but I have uploaded my videos on his Etude Op 104b no 1. Please feel free to listen and comment!

  • @etudepatetico

I assure you - this is *genuine* Rachmaninoff's recording! ;)
