to sidley0191 ~ I just added a link to the above 'info drop-down' for the Facebook Group, "John Kay & Steppenwolf Should Be In The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame", if anyone wants to add to their numbers.

John Kay was inducted into The Canadian Music Hall Of Fame in 1996.

He and Steppenwolf should, at some time, also be included in the R&R HoF. Then again, maybe the Sex Pistols, who snubbed the place when inducted in 2006, were right in saying that the place has become a "piss stain" ? ;-j

My question about this particular post is that Jerry Edmonton isn't even credited for vocals. Isn't that Jerry trading vocals with John? I always thought it was.

Indeed a great album. Went hiking up near Mt. Marcy in NY back in 1971 when I was 12 and this song was running through my head the whole trip, it really fit. This was back before Walkmans or iPods.

brings me back to US west and east coast 71 - 72 while sailing on cargo wessels and had the album on 8 track cassette tape.

It's just GREAT !
