SO what would Palin do if she wasn't VP?  Oh -Govenor of Alaska, so what's the point? So how does that fit into Piper's "wisdom" ? Would Palin have appointed John Holdgren and his forced abortions as a Czar? Would Palin be the Head of the UN security council? Hmmm. Good thing we got our theology strait out of the Social Justice Identity Politics playbook (the misogynist version) and not he Bible.

You're right DrJTG. I'll bet it all comes as a shock to God, too. It's too bad that God doesn't have the power to change hearts or to steer elections. After all, the Bible teaches that we as humans are sovereign over the destiny of this country and planet, doesn't it? God's really up a crick now that his plan is thwarted.

I'm glad you get your theology "strait" [sic] out of the Bible and not a self-exalting humanistic playbook. This fool Piper believes that God is omnipotent—how stupid.

look up the meaning of omnipotent... if you don't believe that God is then I extremely doubt your salvation brother. If you don't believe God has unlimited power or authority, then you don't believe God is God and that is sad. And the sovereignty of humans is limited man lol... read Romans

That was brilliant by Piper! He thinks on such a deep spiritual level. I try my best to, but he sets a great example. Since God is sovereign, God may decide to bring our country to a low point in order for people to turn to Christ...for whatever reason. After all, that triumphs EVERYTHING. Remember, the world passes away, but Christ endures forever.

Paul covered that great wisdom when he rhetorically asks if he should sin to increase grace.You probably agree with the mentality of Iran's leader who wants world chaos to bring in the 5th Omam or whatever it is? Not protecting children is tantamount to a millstone around the neck. And as a person who has a vote, and a voice, we are complicit. Wake up! God will do what He does, but we need to be faithful. That's not deep, it's stupidity.
