The text at 2:53 says:
The earth bends its back because it couldn't tolerate my sins and cries with heavy rain...
The text at 3:25 says:
Among all these lies, a little truth tries to show up between the fingers...
The text at 4:32 says:
Somewhere in the deep space, truth is seeking for a lie, but...
And the last text (5:06) says:
How can earth hold all these sinful people...
Unfortunately, I think we human beings are no more able to recognize what is sin anymore...

The conversation from 0:03 to 0:20:
The kid: Let me tell you a tale, grandfather.
The old man: Well, what tale is it?
The kid: A tale which has unhappy ending.
The old man: I'm having a nightmare even when I'm awake... (it means the old man is suffering enough that he doesn't want to hear unhappy tales...)
This part is the old man's dream. In his dream, he meets his grandchild who's dead now. That's why he's saying "when I'm awake.
