O and I am the bad guy because I dont want to give an HMO my money, well thank god and Obama for this new reform; we wont have a choice, its going to be pay now or pay a penalty later. Its going to be great for the HMOs Im sure they dont have anything against it.

Common sense says, if for profit were the way to go, all this trouble and heated debate would not be happening right now in the US. Unfortunately, the people need an alternative to their present system and fast. Alot of lives depend on it. Its heart breaking to hear some of the stories of desperation.

made possible by profit? o rly? look, the university of toronto has developed a new treatment for prostate cancer, and has found a certain dna strand that could make breast tumors develop all within one month. the university of Vancouver has discovered how DCH could be used as a universal treatment for health care. don't take my word for it, research it yourself and once you're done, you tell me if profit is the only thing that drives medical industry

No, it is not the only thing, however, it does turn the gears MUCH more quickly.

the companies care. and this isn't one or two guys. this is a lot of people. they will search out the best prices and stick with those companies, and other companies will have to lower prices or increase quality to compete. same with insurance companies. since we're using HSA's, we're using less insurance money. some companies will lower prices to try and get more customers, and others will follow to stay in business. free market solution through capitalism, and the gov't barely spent anything.
