man dilla was a genious. I am almost certain you couldn't think of creating a whole song out of a few bits. It was probably his idea to create a brand new chorus from tht japanese lady singing.

Tribe called Quest also used that twangy chorus line in their last hit "Find a Way" - it's clear Towa and Tip were acquaintances.

Its probably as Towa Tei was apart of DEEE-LITE.

When we think of it, its easy to make the connection: Towa Tei was in Deee-lite, their bigest song was 'Groove Is in The Heart' - Q-TIP featured on this, Tip introduced the industry into Dilla.
