This was eally cheesy but if you guys are around for PS2, I'd really like to play with people who actually care about teamwork
-
Kool video helps to know there are some groups for PS2 that have likewise military backgrounds etc.. You need coordination in big games like these. This video helps my decision making on which faction to play on PS2

so this was filmed on the test server wasnt it?

@halfaddict: I see you've applied, so I'll see you on the forums! Welcome to BWC!
@silentghoust: the firing line voice-over was deliberately campy, an intentional nod to our military background. The firing line exercise is something we use during a Basic Training exercise to get people into the habit of firing from the left and working their way across the field. Fire teams, on the other hand, work. Period. Splitting your forces means a tank has to choose its target. Only one team takes fire.

@JuggernautBWC I finally got BF3 and a new headset.

Used to be in BWC, always enjoyed the military mindset. Hope to see you guys in PS2
@Mirr0rDT No, this was filmed on Emerald. The firing line stuff was done in VR, and the overwatch part in TR Sanctuary. The rest of it was live on emerald.

@silentghoust The concept behind the fire teams is that one team provides overwatch, IE: one team cover for the other team that is moving. If a tank shows up, both teams should be close enough to be able to engage, and one team will have cover and/or concealment. Worst case the moving team gets owned and the second team goes in to rez. Of course that is in theory and with capable leaders and members. Normally we would execute parallel movement of the two teams when there is cover available)

@zerga303 The firing line is an exercise of fire concentration and teamwork. We normally set up an ATV, buggy, and whatever else and use it to show the new members how our left-to-right fire concentration will be able to take down enemy units rapidly. We also like to add elements from real life training where possible.

We will be doing more of the same in PS2. Check us out on our forums: the-bwc.com

If they played on Emerald between 2003-2008 I am sure we have. I don't recall anything in particular, though.

@BrokenSp00n: Yes, some people still play. The populations are certainly much lower now, though.
