In Crowd and Jah Stitch - Baby My Love

Another classic from the In Crowd, featuring Jah Stitch.

Jah Stitch was born Melbourne James on 27 July 1949 in Kingston, Jamaica and is best known for his recordings in the 1970s.

His "toasting" on the latter part of this track is typical of a time when there was nuff skanking and flinging foot going on in the blues dances.

Together with a friend called Finger he started the Sound System Fingertone. The sound would later evolve to the legendary Lord Tippertone sound system.

He was responsible for the first recording efforts of Yami Bolo, Nitty Gritty, Pinchers and Tenor Saw.
