Foreign Body in Dog

Some dogs for reasons still not completely understood show an abnormal taste for objects and things that are not considered food. Condition know as pica.

This patient ate a rock that caused a complete obstruction of the small intestine. The only solution for this problem is surgical removal of the foreign object.

i once considered being a vet cuz i just LOVE the animals!! but i dont want to be a surgical vet cuz i just cant stand all the blood and stuff. so maybe nutering and spaying is as far as ill ever go with surgery. lol do u get used to it??
