@Vortex42 "Automatic Animation is a disturbing"
Calling something mundane "disturbing" is often a side effect of being too involved in a narrow field of interest.
Looking at this a little more "objectively"... when it comes down to movie production, you wouldn't use this on the character at the center of attention anyway. You'd likely use it on crowds, or extra's walking in the background.
HOWEVER, I'll say that this is likely more useful for games, that doesn't negate it's film making value.

@CognosSquare lol - Yeah, sorry about that - I've been pretty busy. ;o)

@Vortex42 dude you reply 10 months later. Thats what I call a lag.
Id like to see your gait. It must be a sight to behold dude.
-
@CognosSquare You are wrong. Or rather, I should say - Sure, maybe some films will be made using vacuous, soulless, heartless, craftless automatic animation like this... but I can guarantee you I won't be making films that way, and I won't be watching films made that way.
-
@TheReasonWhyGuy No - It's a horrendous idea. Perhaps you want your films to be completely lacking *any* kind of human craftsmanship whatsoever. I happen to be a film maker and animator and actually care about how films get made, and ensuring they are done with artistry. Automatic Animation is a disturbing and horrific idea.
