I agree that it should mentioned who the original artists, but I do enjoy how she cover songs; she takes the song, and definitely makes it her own, not trying to mimic the original. Like how most versions of Mad World song nothing like the original Tears for Fears version.

I really don't like how Birdy never credits the original artists for their songs, plus I really don't think they can be covered.

I don't think this song can be covered like this. She has a beautiful voice! But the National songs are all about it all being melancholy, grim, rugged, imperfect, slow.. and I think the strings are too uplifting.
