The difference between Jesse and so many singers is that Jesse not only has the amazing voice, but he has that unassailable stage personality! Just watching him on stage is fun!

God, this guy can sing! The first time I heard heard Jesse sing was on the X-Files episode "The Unnatural," and the first thing that came out of my mouth was, "Det. Eddie Green (his "Law and Order" character) can sing, man."

@arpeggio1358 yes, this segment came just as the "in memoriam" segment was finishing, and Jerry Orbach's was the final photograph. Jerry had died only several months earlier, in 12/2004.
