HERO Walkthrough (Now called Awakened 2012)

*Note this is not made by me, I "found" this on the net, it looks very interesting and since this is a early look at the game to get public responses can help the devs (which I cannot find who are working on this) with feedback*

If you know more info about this game please comment, I would like to know more about this game.

*Update 1/11/2011* So this is Midway's HERO a game that got canceled a while back.

*Update 11/3/2011 so I am pretty late about this but thanks to Wakaboo14's comment this game is alive again.

Do remember this video was posted 3 years ago so don't judge the game negatively based on this. Best of luck to the guys that created Phosphor Games to keep their project going and soon to be a reality.

wow after years and years there is a came that actually looks good , has a great conecpt, even seems to have a great engine and even has coop and then boom.... it gets canceled!

you know what, vidoegame god hates us. he seriously does.

or how do you explain (insert random hyped game here) gettin overhyped like its the greatest thing ever while being mediocore at best.

and then he torments us with the same crappy games always repackaged under a new label over and over.

the makers of the game phosphor games have started over i think they are now calling it Awakened. because hero was owned by the now defunct midway, they said they have taken what they learned and will apply it to their new game

even if it does manage to somehow manifest itself, it won't be the game it wouldhave been as "Hero"... No vehicles, no safe houses, no "full free roam"...

@jrag1000 You're way too cynical about games, I know as well as you do that lots of great games go wrong, but try to keep your hopes up... and wait until this game gets a publisher and comes out around... my guess...

Reboot means it's like a sequel and you know that sequels suck they are never what was first envisioned, this means that the game has been hacked down and chopped up so it will be accepted by one of the neanderthal publishers that want you to buy buy buy the quick shit they can shovel out the door. Wonder why the bargain bins are so full of shit? That's what you get, empty 1 day games that fit the schedule... Companies are out for money, games never were meant to be about money.

This would have been a really good game, but the Superhero Curse hits like a spiked glove to the face once again... This has always happened. So go buy Gears or War 3 or the Next Call of Duty... hahahah

How could Midway go out of business? They started the Game industry for shits sake... I swear there are some dickheads out there that should hang themselves because their business degrees aren't WORTH WIPING your ass with...
