Jaya writes to PM over Mullaperiyar Dam row

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has escalated the Mullaperiyar Dam controversy .Once again seeking the Prime Minister's intervention to get Kerala to stop pushing for a new dam. In a letter to Manmohan Singh. Jayalalithaa also said the retrofitted Mullaperiyar dam was safe and was functioning well.
