  • how do u know which frequency the rings need to be on - how do u work that out without cheating?

  • @Tiddlefish No it's easy : the ball has to pass from the lowest to the highest frequency. You increase the frequency by turning the hand clockwise. In the video I start with the highest frequency since I go from the end to the beginning of the ride.

    I hope it's clear, I'm not really good to explain these things in english :P

  • @Pieuw but if u were on ur own in this game, how would u know it had to go from low to high freq? is it just a dynamic rule we have to know?

  • @Tiddlefish Well, it seems logical to me... It's a puzzle you have to figure it out by yourself : the ball explodes when it passes through the first gate except when the frequency is set to 10 o'clock, 12 o'clock for the second, et caetera... The annoying thing is that the control device is quite far from the structure :P

  • you know ate 6:56 my thing just shops it dont go in to the book form what do i do or where have i gone rong

  • @tab060693 3:21 -> 5:11

    Just do the same :)

  • They should make a Cyan Worlds Theme Park with the Amateria Pinball Roller coaster, a Theatre thingy with the Riven Cart Ride, An explorable Myst Island, A Riven Submarine Ride, A cleft thingymabob, and "How to be D'ni" classes with free giveaway D'ni outfits.

  • Without a doubt the Myst games are some of the best games I've ever played, have to play through them again some time.

  • Notice that all of the puzzles in all of the Myst games, including this one, are all elemental based. Every building, and everything that is within that building, every puzzle, and every part of the surroundings is made from either involves, a metal of some sort, wood, glass, water, or fire. I know it is the same for houses in real life, but in Myst, they seem to stand out even more. In the real world we can use things like synthetic plastics and such like, in Myst however, it is truly elemental

  • @Tiddlefish don't pay attention on frequency, it's just the order of rings when the ball rolls through them, from 1st to 6th

  • @IYFGames712 omg that would actually be a great idea!!! people can like wonder round riven and see animals and find the puzzles. all the ages in the games etc and the art work. solve the puzzles to find ur way out!!!

  • @Pieuw so i guess u cud do it by trial and error. i get it

  • oh so the three puzzles each have an ice ball that needs to reach the centre building? atrus has a brilliant imagination lol

  • what i ask me about is... how did u find out the solutions in this game? o.O its so such of cokplicated and difficult for me
