@yanlapanic Depends on the gearing, mine came with 14/48 and I could hit 94mph, I changed it to 15/48 and I have hit 103 and backed out of it.

my ktm exc 520 has 6 gears. it goes about
130 mph i can still take it in the woods and track and it does just fine. only weighs 260

I still have a copy of that Dirtbike Magazine test. The XR650R & KX500 were about equal when it came to top speed.

Dirtbike magazine did a test about 6 years ago on what was the fastest dirtbike. The XR650R won at over 120 mph.
