It means a column, concrete, wooden or any other; a pillar of of support. The Yoruba favour the word because of the frequent occurrence of a member of a family or household who is often the backbone of the whole family tradition. It is also frequently used as an attribute of divinity.

@aoagboola34 “OPOMULARO” means “A house Pilate”, which to say the pilate that makes a house stand and not fall. However, in this song, the OPOMULARO phrase is referring to (the Pilate that holds my life) because He’s (Jesus) behind me, I’m standing so strong and cannot be shaken.

@aoagboola34 it a bit hard to give u definite answer but it something solid, unshakable, unmoveable OPO means a rod so is like sayin a rod dat is soild n firm dat u can always rely on
