Here is a little movie of ProRemote in action connected to a ProTools LE rig. The developer (Alex le Lievre) did this one a bit closer up for folks who thought his previous video was a fake. I did not write this software, I found it on the internet and posted it to share. This is where I got it:

Just to clarify, ProTools is NOT running on the iPhone, the iPhone is running a "skin" of sorts to allow you to control your rig via WiFi from your iPhone.

Check out my preview of this software as well as other new iPhone stuff on my blog at http://www.iggli.com/roller/theroyalscam/entry/pro_tools_on_the_iphone

  • to all the douchebags complaining that the phone's in mono...its just controlling the fader dipshits...it isnt processing any audio. its just a representation of the level. i think its cool. I just wonder if a mic would pick up the wireless signal as buzz....?

  • Why is it that the faders on the computer screen are stereo, but mono faders on the iphone????????

  • Enter: goo.gl\k55ge to get iPhone 5.

  • we used this in a studio the other night - dude said it worked flawlessly

  • i was thinking of getting this for use when i leave the studio and still can find a way to remotely open my file and mix on the fly anywhere. but if its mono then thats a problem. The price will be fair or a steal if it can do that.

  • Installious ftw

    whatafuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its fantastic for home recording!!!

  • @patrickmusichatesyou

No more hitting "record" and RUNNING into the live room to get behind the kit. It would be... so.... perfect.

  • @forgetsalot

Jesus Christmas, dude. Then you're clearly not an engineer/drummer with a live room and a control room. This thing could change my life if only Verizon would embrace the iPhone.
