Here is a little movie of ProRemote in action connected to a ProTools LE rig. The developer (Alex le Lievre) did this one a bit closer up for folks who thought his previous video was a fake. I did not write this software, I found it on the internet and posted it to share. This is where I got it:
Just to clarify, ProTools is NOT running on the iPhone, the iPhone is running a "skin" of sorts to allow you to control your rig via WiFi from your iPhone.

Are you not familiar or have you just forgotten that studio work often requires multiple rooms and this could be the answer to doing recording sessions without needing a control person.
to all the douchebags complaining that the phone's in mono...its just controlling the fader dipshits...it isnt processing any audio. its just a representation of the level. i think its cool. I just wonder if a mic would pick up the wireless signal as buzz....?
If your not in the control room and you need to set the levels whilst, say, setting up a drum rig, it'd be very handy.
Even in a home studio, you might be recording yourself and just want to kick the transports but your on the other side of the room because thats where the sweet spot in the room is. Its not "lazy", its rather practical.
Very cool, although I'm not sure if I would really find it useful, since I'm usually just sitting in the chair with my hand on the mouse anyways. Still very cool though. I'm really holding out for someone to make a multi-track recording program for the iphone. Even a light 4 or 8 track version of pro tools would be excellent. So there ya go man... I've given you an idea for your next project:) (better get digidesign in on this one though:)
