This video is Segment one in the unreleased film, 'The Unclimbed Ridge.' Several seasoned Climbers attempted the previously Unclimbed Ridge of Everest. Along the way to base camp, local culture was experienced. The footage is breathtaking.
ha ha ha...several HUNDRED people have reached the summit...it seems a lot has happened since 1989...do you any idea where i can find the rest of this film? were they successful?
I thought this ridge had been climbed by Russell Brice and someone else years ago? He didn't reach the summit but surely it is not 'unclimbed'? They got over all the pinnacles, is this attempts goal to go all the way to the summit? Sorry if I appear ignorant, can any one clear this up?
8LeoLion8: the pinnacles are on the North Ridge just before it intersects with the North East Ridge

Why they didn't bomb the summit, so they would have brought it down enough in order to ease the climb ? Just asking...
