  • The worst atrocity ever committed by the British Empire was the creation of the USA, the worst country to ever exist.

  • America and Americans are bullies, if the British empire should be blamed for anything it should be creating such a monster in the US, a country full of inconsiderate, selfish fat cats who don't even care to acknowledge the fact that the rest of the world HATES them. The points these bias so called "Historians" make are so one sided, "Imperialism was bad". seriously? ok so you would rather go without your TVs, cars, refrigerators and all these things that make your american lives easy?

  • Wtf Steven is a bitch

  • "British historian Max Hastings said that, when looking through the book, it read "as if every bar bore in Philadelphia, where the author hails from, got together one night and wrote down every half-assed insult they could remember about Britain, somewhat handicapped by the fact that none did high school history past sixth grade."

    LOL

  • It's easy to pick a target for everything.

  • The British empire through its unquestioned influence contributed a lot to us all.

Most obvious being the English language.

But to get to a position of influence, they massacred, looted and raped. They are in a position to dictate their version as the correct version of history to the world.

This empire are the biggest looters and plunderers in history, unfortunately we live in a world where the biggest ruthless looters end up writing history and are unquestioned and unchallenged.

  • Mr Grasse. At least you're able to talk about your fews in a country thats stands by free speech and a free press, something England did assist in giving to the world.

I suggest you remove that chip from your shoulder

  • "i'll let dave in cheltenham have a go at you" XD

  • America's very good at taking responsibility for its actions. My arse.

  • Why is everyone getting so upset about this man's book? It's a great book. The pages are soft and velvety just perfect for wiping your ass on.

Gracias Grasse, you're not an Ass

  • Death to UK n it imperalism.

  • @cleverdogbert couldn't agree more. Well said!
