  • Nice work. Suggested to a buddy of mine that he might wanna look into ableton for his line of work. He's a light...guy.. not sure what its called, lighting technician? for live gigs and so forth, controls the light show. Their tables have midi in. Ableton is probably hellasweet for that sorta stuff.

  • yeah man, im actually looking at sorting that for a club too - it actually works a bit easier for lights!. Any idea on what table he uses is?

  • I say Resolume instead of Ableton at 37secs in....my bad.

  • Resolution and Volume = Ree Zul Yoom!!! NOT Res A Loom!!!

  • @ona1r Yes !

  • Can you do this on a Mac with Ableton and Resolume??

  • yeah, I don't like that syncing technique. The whole point of warp in ableton is to pull everything in time for you.

  • is just what i need good job dude!!!!

    thanks

  • Cool vid mate and good work!

Surely all the triggering and transitions can be controlled by a midi keyboard?

All that mousing around is a bit of a nuisance... But then you were demo-ing the app combo not giving a live show demo...

    sweet as

  • cool, but can't you sync the video to the audio just by using Audio FFT feature in Resolume?

  • you have to configure resolume to read the midi out data from ableton

  • ok...i see you sync resolume and ableton

BUT HOW DID YOU DO THAT

    i cant figure it out

    pls help

  • Great work!

But you could drag the audiofile straight to ableton and sync it properly. Actually with ableton you could do after that anything in sync with resolume. Even change the tempo.
