But after the coast guard finished with their investigation, it was discovered that the boat Captain and his deckhand were below deck using illegal substances. Once again Madrods, maintain a proper watch, they could have lost their lives, but hurt others. That is why the rules of the road exist.

Obviously, you may think you know it all, but do you know anything about the rules of life? Ever heard of compassion for another human being or are you too busy trying to be jack cousteau's circus seal? The guy and his deckhand just survived a near-death experience and the only thing you have better to do is to call him an idiot and ridicule him. I guess this why one idiot should stay up and maintain a proper watch. What kind of fool goes below with his deck hand to fix a steering leak. Send the person who has the most knowledge on the system and have the other standing a watch and manning the radio. This guy gave other people in his profession a horrible reputation. Know your rules of the road, it is republished every year by the Coast Guard!
