No swab was done, NO empirical results from the thermography, no description of the % that sapphire is purported to have been above the NORM.... NO VALIDITY TO THIS DECISION.

Hypersensitivity is painful for the horse...so why did she only raise her leg four times when it was touched over 20 times

OK, fine, very clear explaination, but we want to see the video of the clinic examinations done on Sapphire because, so far, we cannot have our own opinion. The American say one thing and the FEI says another thing regarding the reactions of the mare....

Urine, blood samples and leg swabs, were taken from Sapphire on 17 Apr. morning pursuant to standard Medication Control Programme procedures. They were sent to the central FEI laboratory for analysis. The FEI protocol for clinical and thermographical examination puts greater emphasis on clinical examination. Thermography is just an additional tool. A protocol almost identical to this one has been in use for the last 2 years and is known to riders and their veterinary advisers
