Go look up equivocation because you're doing it. A little perspective is in order. Every country has done bad things. But ONLY JAPAN denies its WWII atrocities and glorifies its racist imperial ideology. You don't see modern English PM claiming England civilized Africa. You don't see German academics and politicians deriding Jews and denying the Holocaust.

Every single country on Earth has bad things. The US, Japanese, S. Korea, N. Korea, Taiwan, etc. countries have all bad things. Japan isn't the only one, America isn't the only one, S. Korea isn't the only ones. It's everyone. This is how humans were made. This is why humans have violence. And I hate it. The governments are to blame, not the people who live in the country. What many people say sound like they just hate Japanese citizens just because the Japanese government did something wrong.
