Jamie's Farm was founded by Jamie Feilden as a history teacher in a challenging Croydon school. Jamie originally took lambs into the school playground, which resulted in reduced fights, students with poor attendance turning up early, and marked improvements in relationships and empathy. Jamie then brought challenging students to his family home in Bath to work on the farm and to benefit from his mother's psychotherapeutic expertise. The Jamie's Farm formula was developed from here. They now work full time, with 350 young people to date benefiting from improved relationships, motivation, behaviour, self-esteem and ultimately decreased school exclusion rates.
