On the eve of the 4th Anniversary of the War on Iraq hundreds of Asian and Pacific Islanders marched in San Francisco. Thanks to the ANSWER Coalition, APICAW, BAYAN, ILPS, LFS, Chinese Progressive Association, PYC, FCC, Gabriella, CJWP, Common Roots, Monster Cable Workers Boycott Campaign, Watada Support Committee,
and
San Francisco State and City College students, Students Against War, Campus Anti-War Network, Veterans Against the War, May 1st Coalition, US Labor Against the War and the United Educators of San Francisco.
In 70 degree weather 10's of thousands marched in San Francisco today. Mike Wong of Veterans Against War and the Watada Support committee called for more support for GI resisters like Lt. Ehren Watada. Ann, a laid-off worker from Monster Cable and an activist with the Chinese Progressive Association said through CPA translator Shaw San Liu
that the $1/2 trillion spent on the War on Iraq is hurting our communities at home. One of the largest and most vibrant contingents was led by BAYAN, ILPS, APICAW and closed out by the CJWP drummers and youth of Chinese Progressive Association/PODER Common Roots Program.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi
Why do people praise a War Criminal? She still funds a criminal enterprise like Iraq yet says discussions of Impeaching the original crime lords is off the table. She can stop funding the war just as EASILY.
