We recently installed a new garage floor for the Cromie's, one of our great repeat customers. I have never used the Trafficmaster Allure Flooring before so I was skeptical but after installing it I am satisfied it will stand up to years of service. My standard for this type of floor is RaceDeck and I will be doing a table top review of Trafficmaster in a few days. My biggest complaint with the Allure is the manufacturers trim. The devil is always in the details and this is one area the manufacturer needs to improve. See the video for details!

  • good video, music stinks . thanks

  • @willi9723 haha, yes the music is out there :) thanks!

  • Are you guys still happy with this floor? No problems?

  • @edge88000 Coincidentally, I was just there at that customers house the other day. They are a repeat customer of ours. The floor still seems to be holding up great and they are still happy with it. Thanks!

  • Tony, great video to demonstrate the installation. Any chance you can tell me where you got the finish trim (glued to floor and held down by garage door)? Agree the manufacturer recommended finish trim is a waste.

  • @jimsciortino Thanks! I got the threshold piece at garagedoorpartssuppyDOTcom The item is called Garage Door Threshold Storm Shield it is on their page labeled /stormshield.html Several website have it. You might shop around for the best price.

  • @ArtisanTony Excellent. Again, thanks.

  • @sixraven It has held up well. I was skeptical at first but I think it is a pretty good product now. Thanks!

  • Hey Tony..I've installed this in two mobile homes a year ago in kitchen and a bath. They have held up very well. I am out west where it gets very hot . For the baseboard I cut a 3" high piece and glued it to the wall matching the grout lines. Looks great. Also on long cuts I scored it with a knife and broke it off instead of shears. How is the garage floor holding up.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

  • @MsCakerat It smells like vinyl flooring :) But yes, it goes away after a few days. I have been around most of the vinyl products out there and they all have that new smell but they dissipate after a week or so. Thanks!
