Not a good drummer , but a great one.
I was backstage with Jerry Floyd (DJ) at the Marquee on the Man Reunion tour in '83. We got stoned as rats listening to Chris playing like a metronome. I'd blagged my way in past 400 people , after hitching 240 miles from Wales- only to find I was on the guest-list anyway!! Got even more out of it with Cozy Powell and Neil Murray who wondered if I'd consider forming a band. Fucking incredible night. Chris was the most solid drums I'd ever heard.
