Step away from the computer or television and go grab your PJ's and Go TO BED! Most of us are sleep deprived and it is literally Killing Us. Lack of sleep contributes to Heart Disease, Cancer, Diabetes, anxiety, and Many Many Car Crashes. Our bodies need sleep. This is the time when Hormone Levels are supposed to go down and out bodies become fat burning machines - Unless you have that bowl of ice cream before bed. Not only that, but when you are sleeping, your brain is filing away all the days' memories and organizing data it has just received. If you are not getting the required amount of sleep, you will find yourself literally losing your memory. 8 hours is the recommended amount of sleep each night, unless you need to make up for being sleep deprived - then it's more... (what did he just say? I forgot.) Which leads me to my final tip for taking better care of yourself....
