**sorry dude, but I've been looking for help because my gecko didn't shed properly and every source said not to pull off their skin like that...

@jonnygexter my gecko had never any problem with his skin, and i never heard that it's wrong. you can peel your gecko's skin to help it get it off, but only if it starts shedding.

@NicKtheGreeK1100 in my case she didn't shed properly, there's some leftover skin. I would think if it didn't come off naturally it's not ready to be pulled off.. could be bad for the next shed. Bath and/or rubbing it gently with a wet q-tip seems safer.
Also, if you notice the gecko shedding on its own it ends up eating most of the skin.. which provides it with protein and nutrients... either way you look at it, I don't think pulling their skin is a good idea.. but it's your gecko!
Take care

@jonnygexter you realise that during the skin down the older one is a problem and must be gone, right? the geckos peel of the skin from their own and so it's not harfull to help it if you do it gently. have you seen any gecko being injured by doing that? i guess no...
