  • @ninjatenor17 Totally agreed!!!!

  • i gotta say even though the tempo is slower .it actually sounds better this way.it reallly gives the good old gospel feel

  • This choir has the best version of this arrangement I've ever heard... and I have heard lots... I agree... those basses are amazing.

  • 10 star praise God !

  • I totally agree!!!

  • sing Metro!!!!!!!!

  • Great tempo! It really grooves like a spiritual should. Why do choirs always go to fast on spirituals?!

    Awesome performance!

  • AMAZING! ^^ i loved the guys' entry :D haha

  • beautiful!

  • HOT!

  • AMAZING!

  • I think that the background of the people should not matter. I hope that Mr. Hogan would want for everyone to be able to enjoy his music and be able to pull a message from it. That being said, this is an exceptional rendition. Thank you for sharing this with the world.

  • yes i love this! YES FOR THE CHOIR

  • I loooooooooooooooooooove this song. Moses Hogan is my favorite

  • Thanks for you comment. We do try! It is a great privilege to sing the songs of our great composers; people such as Moses Hogan and Nathan Carter. I wished more of us did this.

  • Wow thank you, that's an incredible compliment considering that MHC is the standard.

  • I agree with you. I sing with a chamber group in my hometown and we do a lot of Moses Hogan music and we should never forget the music of our fore fathers and mothers.

  • I ve never heard of this group, but that was really nice...I am a former member of the Moses Hogan Chorale and singers and honestly, that is the closest Ive heard any group to coming to they way that we recorded that piece. Kudos to these African American singers for upholding our music. Sadly, as I search youtube for spirituals and groups like this one, the only groups that tend to come up are those not of our heritage. We must preserve the spiritual. Very well rendered!!!! Keep the vids coming

  • perfect!
