okay..first of all a Subaru WRX is not a ricer. There is a difference in ricer and rally/tuner. A 2008 WRX sti actually out ranked an 08 Mustang GT 500500 in 49the categories. I love both cars and theu are totally from 2when different classes and automotive worlds...

As a company Subaru is not much younger than Ford, being established in 1915. They were the ones that Made the Zero fighter, the one that could out turn any fighter in the world and had and unbelievable range. But their move into passenger transport didn't happen until 1946 when they figured out how to make scooters out of air plane parts. Cars came about in 1954 and they began selling in the states in 1968. So yea, they were around.
