Not exactly a "free market" when the government steps in to bail it out and consistently interferes with it. An example is the 'zero down' program our government (both Republican and Democrat) pushed for home ownership.

Sarkozy is now triumphing his efforts to temper American capitalism. You can't get much more liberal than Sarkozy.

Yes, Sarkozy is so first-rate that he has low approval numbers similar to Bush's and the Socialists are now regaining key provinces in French elections. Newt just lives in a dreamworld where the stars on the American flag are replaced with dollar bills.
