If you don't care about great customer service then you shouldn't have a job that deals with customers. A lot of people though are in jobs they shouldn't be in.

You need to ferret out the workers who think it's "crap" to treat people well who basically pay your paycheck by shopping at your store or buying your services- NOT be one of them.

I'm researching customer service videos from 'inspirational speakers' to parody them in a sketch and every single one of them is like this.

Some guy who talks about good customer service like it's an art form. It isn't. Your employees don't care about this crap. They put up with it because they have to. I've had to endure training like this myself and it makes me cringe.

Videos like this only alienate management from their staff. Try talking to people like a human being instead. Rant over.
