A time-lapse recording of the refurbishment process of the old T-hoog Chemistry building into the new Vertigo building for the faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning. The new building is a design of Bert Dirrix. The frame rate is 30 frames per second and each day consists of an average of 40 images.
The old building consists of floor plates that are 40 by 50 meters and a floor height of 5.4 meters. During the construction the staircase on the north side has been removed. An atrium has been created at the west side. At the north and south sides new extensions have been added. The new façade of the building consists of green serigraphed glass plates. At the five top floors extra in between floors have been added.
This is part one of two.
