Amazing Ceremony for World AIDS Day
New Yorkers, celebrities, politicians and good will ambassadors came out in force for the 21st anniversary of World AIDS Day. They gathered in Washington Square Park for amfARs "Light For Rights" ceremony, which recognized the 33 million people who are currently infected with the disease worldwide.
OURsceneTVs Blake Hayes was at the ceremony and watched as NYC dimmed the lights of Broadway, the Empire State Building, the arch in Washington Square and around the world to represent the more than 25 million lives that were lost to AIDS.
