  • 3:25 - 3:56. I'm glad I live in England.

    It's not enough, but it's a start.

  • There actually is a place called hell, but you don't go there when you die. You go there whenever you go to a nation controlled by religion.

  • @jaieet

those religions should never be allowed to have any political power, though. Nothing good has come from religion controlling a nation.

  • @jaieet Well, I *say* always, but there's always the chance that we could randomly develop a sudden disdain for things like art/fiction/drama/whatnot, and then proceed to go "Hardcore Vulcan" (boo star trek! :P). That would be.... unexpected. =p

  • @wearestarstuffsagan Well, clearly, if the jainists are doing good things, then the problem is other people. :P

The counter to that argument is that jainists should know other people aren't all good. Though by that logic, 'rationalists' should accept that not everyone else is rational.

Certain people revel in conflict. Or in ignorance. In social activities, or in complete and utter solitude.

Religion will always exist. Unless we kill people off will-nilly every 2 years.

  • @gvman3670 I live in Peckham SE London, the riot was LITERALLY right outside my door, tell me again how it was all about religion? I missed that bit as i watched the kids (& their parents) stealing the booze, fags & whatever else from Tesco's. Trust me Religion had NOTHING to do with it, opportunism & the chance to grab something for free DID. I found about a dozen boxes of Chocolate lying around on the street which i took home & i'm an Atheist! (A FAT Atheist)lol.

  • @beanie928 Yes he has & i refuse to kiss his ass JUST because he's been around longer than many other Atheist on YT. Most of his recent vids have been weak ass & much better content is produced by others. He's old news, Yesterdays man & the new blood in the Atheist community can & will always be grateful for what he achieved in his hey-day. But it's time to retire before he does more of these "Look what we do you for the young un's videos" Tell me about the good old days grandpa, who was VFX?

  • How much more proof do you need to see TFs disappearing up his own ass? He even sounds different now compared to his earlier stuff, an intellectual shouldn't need to try to sound like one, & the conceit of thinking that himself & a few like him are the De-facto "Spokespeople" of the Atheist community is laughable. TFs endorsement of rationalism should be weighed against the demonstrable fact that he needs a dose of it himself. he would make for good clergy, elitists often do.

  • @jaieet jainism is indeed not violent, but anyone that behaves like a jainist would be in completely in danger of any bad person who came along so yes, i would say that ALL religion is bad
